Name of examination: Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026
Name of posts: Various Group B and Group C Posts (Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Inspector, Sub Inspector, Inspector of Posts, Statistical Investigator, Office Superintendent, Auditor , Accountant, Tax Assistant , Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, etc )

Pay Scale: Pay Level 4 to Pay Level 8 (Pay Scale of ₹ 25500 to 81100 till ₹ 47600 to 151100, as per level of posts)

Eligibility Criteria of SSC CGL Recruitment 2026
Age Limit: There are four categories of age ranges: 18 to 27 years, 20 to 30 years, 18 to 30 years and 18 to 30 years.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below
# SC/ST: 5 years
# OBC: 3 years
# PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
# PwD (OBC): 13 years
# PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
Educational Qualification:
Junior Statistical Officer:
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level;
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
Statistical Investigator Grade-II:
Bachelor degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Demography or Population Studies or Operation Research or Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Computer Application or Data Science or Artificial Intelligence from a recognized University or recognized Institute.
All Other Posts:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
## The candidates who have appeared in their final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification as on 01.08.2026.
